Should I use Panasonic Ni-MH AA 2100mAh Batteries for a Canon Powershot A80? Or are those too weak?
Yes they should be perfectly fine, because the A80 is quite an old camera, so probably wouldn't benefit from using anything more powerful.
If the 2500's are not much dearer, then I would go with those, though.

I purchased this bet of batteries thinking, “What a Great deal!” I was let down when I opened the box and discovered a cheap Chinese knock-off. You know hte old saying “If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true. This applies to this set of batteries. They do work in the phone but they aren’t as advertised. You be the judge!

I ordered the batteries for my phone because I thought that I was getting the Panasonic Brand at a great price. What I got was a "generic" which I had to pay to return.
I find it difficult to find this specific battery - Panasonic Brand - at any stores. For the cost that you would pay for 8 of these real Panasonic batteries - you could buy a new 4 phone system.
