Why Vtech remote batteries discharge so fast?
Phone was in charge cradle all night. Used it this AM and it shut off in about 4 minutes.All 3 phones due this with varying times of discharge. Not to good when you finally get a person after pushing buttons and you can't get back to this...

Over the years I’ve upgraded my telephones beginning with a 900 mhz model and then moving to 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz and now Dect 6.0. Along the way I also purchased models incorporating digital voice, answering machines and headset jacks. I would have thought that my list of reasons to upgrade had been fulfilled, until I got this unit from Vtech.

Although four of the five batteries worked well - one was wired backwards and could not be inserted into the phone correctly. I thought I could return it without paying shipping, as it was faulty, but the Amazon site would not allow for this supplier. Considering the low price of the item, it was not worth for me to pay shipping to send it back, but because of it, I probably would not order this item from Amazon again.
I bought 3 of these for my Vtech cordless phone Dect6.0 (s). They work great for the price. So far they are lasting about two weeks before I put it on the charger.The last set of batteries I bought from Radio Shack cost me $ 25.00 each and they lasted about seven months. I recommend buying them. Good service. I received this time, as promised.
