I would like to have a Voip service provider. Which is the best option skype, power phone, google phone, etc ?.
I have used Skype for over 3 years now. It works very good for me. My borther in New Mexico and I (in Canada) talk together with Skype often and find its voice quality very good. But for some reason, some other people don't seem to share our same experience.

The network migration effort entails the nation’s seventh largest cable operator using GENBAND’s S3 session border controller A2 converged application server. That will outfit the service provider with a SIP services platform through which to deliver both business and residential services, including a subscriber web portal and voicemail. Professional services are also part of the GENBAND solution in this case; these services will assist SuddenLink in integration, customization and optimization. These new GENBAND solutions complement the GENBAND C20 softswitch already in use by Suddenlink.
“Having worked closely with GENBAND to support our rapid customer growth and deploy geographic redundancy capabilities throughout our network last year, we turned to them again to help us seamlessly integrate the NPG Cable infrastructure from a commercial and residential SIP services standpoint,” said Tim Thompson, vice president of telephony at Suddenlink. “GENBAND’s A2 and S3 solutions enable us to migrate the NPG business customers to SIP-based lines while providing seamless SIP interworking across our network.
