Off the field, however, good judgment and strong leadership are qualities you simply do not display. Or apparently understand. You stand in the face of greatness in the likes of Rex Kern, Bobby Hoying, Craig Krenzel, Kirk Herbstreit and Cornelius Greene, but you are not the same.
Their shoes are too big. These were true giants of OSU football, men who demonstrated their pride and love of their school, individuals who embraced the concept of team image and collective effort. They appreciated and understood the value of a free education and treasured the opportunity to represent the greatest university in America.
